About Taylor

Hi, I’m Taylor—the photographer behind Sallee Pictures.

My approach to photography is pretty simple: I want your photos to feel like you. Not overly posed, not stiff, and definitely not like you’re trying to be someone you’re not. I love capturing real moments—the genuine reactions, the natural connection, and all those in-between moments that often end up meaning the most.

I’ve always been drawn to photos that feel true to the moment—the real emotion, the natural colors, and the kind of images that instantly take you right back to how everything felt. To me, that’s what makes a photo timeless, and it’s something I’m always chasing in my work.

I also know being in front of a camera can feel a little awkward at first—and that’s completely okay. I’ll gently guide you when needed with natural prompts and light posing so you never feel unsure, while still keeping everything relaxed and true to who you are.

More than anything, I care about the experience you have. Whether I’m working with couples, families, or seniors, my goal is always the same—to create a space where you feel comfortable, confident, and actually enjoy the moment. When that happens, the photos come so naturally.

I take the time to get to know you, help you plan the little details, and make sure your session really reflects your personality and story. From start to finish, I want this to feel easy, fun, and completely tailored to you

Wedding Days with Taylor and Cory

On wedding days (and occasionally during select sessions), my husband Cory works alongside me behind the camera.

While I lead the overall vision and guide your experience, Cory steps in wherever needed—whether that’s as a second photographer or assisting with videography. He helps capture additional angles, reactions, and all the in-between moments that make your photos feel full and complete.

Because we work together so naturally, everything feels seamless and relaxed. You’re not working with strangers—you’re working with a team that already knows how to move together, communicate, and capture your day without making it feel overwhelming.

We also offer videography as an add-on for weddings, allowing your day to be captured in motion in a way that feels just as natural and true as your photos.

When we’re not behind the camera…

When I’m not photographing sessions or editing, you’ll usually find me doing something a little slower and cozy—like knitting or crocheting, heading out for some nature photography, or enjoying a quiet morning coffee on the porch.

Cory is pretty much the opposite in the best way—he’s usually out mountain biking (his biggest passion), flying drones, gaming, or creating fun videos.

And together, we love staying active, spending time with family and friends, playing with our Frenchie Kal, reading, and exploring Washington—something we’ve really been enjoying as we settle into this new area.

We’re so grateful you’re here. If our approach resonates with you, we would love to connect and start planning something meaningful together
